Heat Mat 20 Watt - 42 x 28cm

"AGNI" Pet heating mat is a translucent polyester film that releases far infrared heat.

Specially designed for reptiles, amphibians and many other small animals.

Latest technology heats extremely evenly, super flat.

Durable, hard wearing and flexible quality.

Please note - heat mats are best used in conjunction with a good thermostat to ensure that they do not under nor overheat an enclosure.

Heating mats are one of the easiest and most convenient ways to provide required heat to your reptile and amphibian pets.

Simply place the heat mat under the enclosure in the desired location and then switch it on. Heat mats give off continuous heat.

The temperatures generated by this heat mat will vary according to usage, enclosure type, size, and application.
As a general rule a heat mat that covers around a third of the floor size of
your enclosure is the correct size for your enclosure.

These items are not waterproof so should never be immersed in water.

Heat mats can be placed either inside or under your pets enclosure.

If using under your enclosure place a heat resistant barrier such as glass or similar between the heat mat and your furniture to ensure that the heat does not mark your furniture.

Ensure that there is adequate ventilation around the heat mat for optimal performance.

Set your enclosure up completely BEFORE you put any animals into it and ensure that the heat inside the enclosure is correct BEFORE putting your animals in. You will need a good thermometer.

Put the heat mat toward one end of the enclosure as you should have a heat gradient which results in a warmer end of the enclosure and a cooler end of the enclosure.
